This is not a metal bike stand you hide away in the basement. BIKERECT is designed as a freestanding piece of furniture. It combines the industrial precision of CNC machining with the natural warmth of wood. The result is a home for your bike that works just as well as it looks.
Physics instead of drilling. How does vertical bike parking work?
The secret behind BIKERECT's stability is not wall mounting, but the smart use of the bike's own weight. Standard stands have to be drilled into the wall — otherwise a heavy e-bike can tip them over. We use the weight of the bike as both a stabilising force and an aid when lifting it into position.

Kinematics:
The stand works on the principle of a single-arm lever. Thanks to the adjustable arm, ranging from 150 to 190 cm, the rear wheel can be positioned as close as possible to the pivot point. This reduces the load arm to a minimum, so when you lift the bike into a vertical position, you are handling far less effective weight than the bike's actual mass.
Gravity:
Once the stand is upright, the weight of the bike is transferred into the base. The force that would normally pull the bike towards the wall is redirected straight down. The heavier the bike, the more firmly the entire structure is pressed against the floor — making the whole setup even more stable.
Geometry:
The 70 × 70 cm footprint provides a wide support base against sideways forces. Even without a single screw in the floor, the stand is highly resistant to movement, tilting or accidental knocks.
Compatibility: What can you park in it?
The stand is universal, but physics still has its rules. Here is an overview of what BIKERECT can handle:
Bike types: MTB, enduro, road bikes, gravel bikes, e-bikes, city bikes and fat bikes
Wheel sizes: 26", 27.5", 28", 29" and 700c
Tyre width: From narrow road tyres to MTB tyres up to 4.0"
Maximum weight: 60 kg, tested in real-world use — suitable for heavy e-bikes
Mudguards: ⚠️ Short mudguards only. They must not extend below the rear wheel axle. If they do, the bike needs to be parked on the front wheel instead.

We are not resellers. BIKERECT was developed in cooperation with Czech bikers, manufactured in the modern Czech woodworking facility of RD dřevo s.r.o., and packed in Czech-made packaging. From the first cut to the final packing, everything takes place in the Czech Republic.

We use high-quality birch and beech plywood from European sources.

Wood is a renewable material. We minimise the use of plastics in our packaging.

Material: 15 mm Multiplex plywood.
Forget anonymous chipboard or soft pine. BIKERECT is not made from ordinary boards, but from branded 15 mm Multiplex plywood — a high-strength material with real engineering quality.
Structural stability:
11 to 15 layers of veneer are cross-laminated for maximum strength and dimensional stability. That gives BIKERECT the strength you need for heavy bikes, while keeping the natural warmth of wood. It does not twist, crack or lose its shape, even under the load of a heavy e-bike.
Safety and sustainability:
We use only PEFC-certified materials from sustainably managed sources and materials with an E1 emission class. No toxic fumes — the stand is safe for indoor use and suitable even for a bedroom.
We did not want to bring another piece of "garage metal" into the home. BIKERECT is designed as a piece of furniture. Its plywood profiles clearly reveal their structural purpose, while still feeling warm, clean and suitable for modern interiors.
